Day 1

Early morning depart Cape Town and travel to the West Coast National Park, where spring transforms the landscape into fields of brilliant daisies. After a scenic walk among the blooms, enjoy a traditional West Coast picnic on a secluded beach.  Check-in to your stunning accommodation overlooking the lagoon. In the afternoon, paddle across the beautiful Langebaan Lagoon, exploring this remote wetland sanctuary by kayak. Then spend the late afternoon wandering through the quaint town of Langebaan, or taking a peaceful stroll along the shoreline. In the evening, enjoy West Coast cuisine at your leisure.

Day 2

Awake to the calls of kelp gulls and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before setting out on another refreshing kayak adventure, discovering a different and equally beautiful section of the lagoon. If the wind cooperates, guests may opt for an exhilarating kite-surfing lesson or, for experienced kiters, a thrilling morning riding the lagoon’s steady breeze (optional extra cost). Should kayaking not be suitable due to weather, a guided coastal hike offers a peaceful and scenic alternative. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, resting, exploring, or simply soaking up the serene surroundings, before enjoying dinner at a charming local restaurant.

Day 3 & 4

After breakfast, we travel further up the coast to the charming coastal village of Paternoster and onward to a pristine nature reserve, where you’ll check in to extraordinary, character-filled accommodation overlooking the ocean. This idyllic setting will be home for the next two nights. From here, we’ll enjoy sea kayaking in clear Atlantic waters, swimming and snorkelling in secluded coves among the magical kelp forests, savoring traditional South African braais (barbeque), and exploring the quaint village of Paternoster at a relaxed pace.

Day 5

The adventure is over - check out after breakfast and transfer back to Cape Town.

BEACH FRONT & LAGOON ACCOMMODATION

Two nights will be spent at accommodation overlooking the Langebaan Lagoon, and the next 2 nights is spent at our off-the-beaten-track accommodation overlooking the ocean.
