This 4-day West Coast Kayak Adventure offers ethical explorers four guided kayak trips, seasonal wildflowers, and a unique off-the-grid stay at our spectacular beach camp and a stunning beach house.
Explore the famous Langebaan Lagoon by sea kayak and paddle among granite boulders and kelp forests, becoming immersed in a timeless marine ecosystem. Set within the West Coast National Park and Cape Columbine Nature Reserve, the area is rich in wildlife, including African Penguins, gannets, cormorants, oystercatchers, whales, sunfish, and dolphins. Your qualified conservationist guide has all equipment, training, and support needed, and you need no prior experience.

About this TOUR
This 4-day West Coast Kayak Adventure showcases one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal regions, famous for its expansive beaches, rich marine life, and vibrant flower season. From August to September, the landscape transforms into a vivid tapestry of blooms, creating a stunning backdrop for daily guided kayak trips. Paddle through the calm turquoise waters of Langebaan Lagoon and along rugged shores dotted with granite boulders and kelp forests. Set within the West Coast National Park and Cape Columbine Nature Reserve, the area offers excellent wildlife viewing. No experience is needed—stable kayaks, training, and expert conservationist guidance are all provided.
BEACH FRONT & LAGOON ACCOMMODATION
Two nights will be spent at accommodation overlooking the Langebaan Lagoon, and the next 2 nights is spent at our off-the-beaten-track accommodation overlooking the ocean.
